Bulex appreciates your visit to this website and the interest you have in our company and our products. Please find below important legal provisions regarding the use of this website.

This website is operated by Vaillant Group Belgium NV, Golden Hopestraat 15, 1620 Drogenbos, Belgium ("Bulex"). Any use of this website ("Bulex website"), is subject to these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use may be amended, modified or replaced by other terms and conditions, e.g. for the purchase of products and services. Viewing or using the Bulex website, with a log-in where no log-in is required, constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Use in their current form.

This website has been created with the utmost care. However, we cannot be held liable and cannot guarantee the timeliness, accuracy or completeness of the information and data offered. Bulex reserves the right to modify or amend the information and data offered at any time and without prior notice. We may at any time discontinue all or part of the Bulex website and/or the services offered on it. Due to the nature of the internet and computer systems, Bulex cannot be held liable for the continuous or uninterrupted availability of the Bulex website.

Registration, Password

Some pages of Bulex's website may be password protected. In the interests of security and reliability of business transactions, only registered Users will be granted access to said pages. Bulex reserves the right to deny access to any User. In particular, Bulex reserves the right to subject certain web pages, which were previously freely accessible, to the registration condition. Bulex may, at any time and without giving a reason, deny any User the right to access the password-protected parts of the website, by blocking their User data (as defined below), in particular if the User

• false data used to register;
• violates these Terms of Use or carelessly handles its User Data;
• violates applicable laws when accessing or using Bulex's website; or
• has not used the Bulex website for one year.

When registering, the User must provide accurate information and, if that information changes over time, update that information (to the extent possible: online). The User must ensure that his email address, as provided to Bulex, is always up to date and is an address at which the User can be contacted.

After registration, the User will receive an access code consisting of a User Name and a password ("User Data"). Immediately on his first visit, the User must change the password received from Bulex into a password known only by the User. The User Data allows the User to view or change his/her data or, if applicable, to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of his/her data.

The User must ensure that his User Data is not accessible by third parties and is himself responsible for all transactions and other activities carried out under his User Data. At the end of each online session, the User must log out of the password-protected web pages. If the User notices that third parties are misusing his User data, the User must immediately inform Bulex in writing or, if applicable, by e-mail.

Upon receipt of that notification, Bulex will block access to the password-protected parts of the website for that User data. The User will only be able to regain access after applying to Bulex or after new registration.

The User may at any time request in writing the termination of their registration, provided that such termination does not affect the proper functioning of contractual relations. In this case, Bulex will delete all User data and other stored personally identifiable data of the User as soon as such data are no longer needed.

Liability

For information, software or documentation made available free of charge, Bulex is not liable in the event of defects in the quality or content of the information, software and documentation, in particular as regards the correctness or presence of defects or the absence of claims or rights of third parties or as regards completeness and/or applicability, unless Bulex's liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nor shall Bulex be liable in any other respect, unless liability cannot be excluded by law. Compensation is in any case limited to direct, contract-typical, foreseeable damage, except in cases where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Although Bulex makes every effort to keep the Bulex website virus-free, Bulex cannot guarantee that the website is actually virus-free. The User must, for his own protection, take the necessary steps and appropriate security measures. The User should use a virus scanner before downloading any information, software or documentation.

The provisions above do not intend or imply any changes to the burden of proof regarding the prejudice suffered by the User.

Bulex's website may contain hyperlinks to web pages of third parties. Bulex cannot be held responsible for the content of such web pages and neither represents nor endorses such web pages or their content as belonging to Bulex itself, as Bulex has no control over the information on such web pages and is not responsible for the content and information displayed thereon. Since 1 January 2013, pumps in heating systems have also been assessed by the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI). This number gives a comparative value for the energy consumption of a pump. The efficiency index of an ordinary pump is about 0.8. Since 1 January 2013, stand-alone pumps in heating systems must be more efficient with EEI ≤ 0.27. For this, energy consumption is reduced by at least 65% compared to a standard pump. From 1 August 2015, the limit will be reduced to EE <0.23. Then the requirements will also apply to pumps related to a heat generator and well pumps.

The benchmark (34 kB) for most efficient circulators is EEI ≤ 0.20. The benchmark is available in other languages.

From 1 January 2013, information on disassembly, recycling and end-of-life disposal of components and materials from standalone circulators and circulators built into products will be made available to waste management facilities. Varia

These Terms of Use shall be interpreted, administered and construed in accordance with Belgian laws, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The Belgian courts shall have jurisdiction to hear any dispute concerning the interpretation and execution of these Terms of Use

Should any provision of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
